In order to gain access to your unit, complete this form prior to Move-In.
Complete this checklist within 7 days after obtaining possession of your unit.
Please Note: Because of the large number of Move-Ins and Move-Outs occurring around the 1st of each month, please refer to this Move-In information to answer any questions you may have upon Move-In. If this information does not answer all of your questions, contact The Fulton Group BEFORE you move in.
What needs to be done prior to my Move-In Date?
The following items MUST be completed prior to move-in:
- Complete your signed lease agreement.
- Security Deposit paid in full.
- Cleaning Fee paid in full.
- Pet Fee paid in full (if applicable).
- Transfer utilities into your name prior to move-in to ensure service will be ready at your apartment/house upon arrival.
- Confirm Utility Transfer using the button above. Note: we only need one Utility Transfer Checklist per property.
If any of the above items are not completed 48 hours prior to Move-In, you will not be allowed access to your apartment/house. Access may only be granted if all items are complete.
What happens on my Move-In Date?
Your property will be ready for Move-In at a designated time on your Move-In Date. When you first arrive at your property, you should inspect it completely. Please use the Inventory Checklist above to note any defects in both the interior and exterior of the property. This will ensure that you do not get charged for damages you did not cause. Please only submit one Inventory Checklist per unit. We will not accept more than one Inventory Checklist. The Inventory Checklist is compatible with smart phones if you do not yet have internet set up. The Inventory Checklist must be submitted within 7 days of your lease start date. If you do not submit the Inventory Checklist within the allotted time, it will be assumed that the property is free from defect.
What if I can't move in on my Move-In Date?
Although you are able to move in on your Move-In Date, you most certainly do not have to! If at least one of your roommates are moving in on your scheduled Move-In Date, they will receive all keys to the property. It is up to you to work with them on picking up the keys and getting access to the house. Only contact The Fulton Group if everyone in the unit is choosing not to move in on your scheduled Move-In Date.
When is my rent due?
Unless otherwise agreed upon, your rent is always due on the 1st of the month. Any payment received after the 1st will automatically be late and would warrant a $25 late fee. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00-5:00. You have access to our drop box (mail slot), at all times. The drop box is a secure way to drop off your rent during or outside of business hours. Always make sure that your name, address, and what you are specifically paying for is written clearly on the payment.
